    Опис вакансії

    The intensity of the armed violence in Ukraine is having a severe humanitarian impact on the population. The war has resulted in loss of life, injuries, and mass movement of civilian population throughout the country and to neighbouring countries, as well as severe destruction and damage to civilian infrastructure and residential housing. In summary, according to Office of Coordination and Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reports, with the scale and direction of the ongoing military operation, 18 million people are projected to become affected, including up to 6.7 million people projected to be newly internally displaced. Of the affected population, 12 million people are expected to need humanitarian assistance, and 6 million with the most urgent humanitarian needs — including shelter, water, sanitation, hygiene services, cash and basic non-food items.

    Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in Ukraine and the Senior Programme Coordinator (CBI), and the direct supervision of the Cash Coordination Officer (CWG), the Cash Coordination Assistant (Sub-National CWG) will be responsible for supporting the quality coordination services to the Sub-National Cash Working Group co-lead by IOM and OCHA Ukraine.

    Requirements for candidates:

    • 3 years of experience in humanitarian response or related field (operational field experience a must / emergency experience preferred).
    • Experience in the management of cash-based programmes and experience in working with cluster mechanisms (as a lead, co-lead, or cluster member) is an advantage.
    • Relevant experience in the UN Common System or other comparable international organizations.
    • Ability to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds.
    • Good level of computer literacy, including EXCEL, MS WORD, MS TEAMS, OUTLOOK etc.
    • Required high attention to details.
    • Bachelor degree or equivalent in Social Sciences or any other relevant field
    • Ukrainian, Level: Fluent, Required
    • English, Level: Fluent, Required

    • Uncertified sick leave: 7 days annually
    • Learning leave: 10 days annually
