Senior Fixed Assets Accountant for European Countries

We are currently looking for a Senior Fixed Assets Accountant for European Countries.

You are our candidate if:

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a chief accountant/deputy chief accountant;
• You have in-depth knowledge of tangible asset accounting processes;
• You have experience participating in projects to implement new accounting systems and/or automate accounting processes, accounting, and financial reporting;
• You have experience preparing methodologies for recording business transactions in accounting;
• You are an advanced Excel user with experience working with large data sets;
• You know English at a level not lower than Intermediate (spoken and written);
• Experience in auditing will be an advantage;
• Knowledge of one of the ERP systems Microsoft Dynamics Axapta/Business Central System/Navision or the ability to adapt to working in a new accounting system would be an advantage;
• You have an analytical mind, are proactive, systematic, independent, and multitasking.

What you will be doing:

• Setting up, optimizing, and formalizing material accounting processes for companies in European countries;
• Preparing business requirements for automating inventory accounting processes in the accounting system and implementing the results;
• Ensuring control over the reflection of inventory results, self-inventory, and write-offs of materials, including those calculated according to standards, in the system;
• Ensuring control over the timeliness of material asset movements with appropriate documentation;
• Advising and supporting senior accountants at the Center on the reflection of business transactions in the accounting system (material accounting) for European companies;
• Coordinating and interacting with European companies on the implementation of accounting processes for material accounting in accordance with the requirements of the group and business processes;
• Configuring the accounting system of European companies;
• Participating in setting up accounting from scratch in European companies;
• Actively participating in the monthly closing of the reporting period for European companies.
