Dispatch Assistant (U.S. Trucking)

The Dispatch Assistant will support our dispatch and operations team by tracking performance metrics and assisting in operational data analysis. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficiency of daily dispatch operations and the overall performance of both drivers and dispatchers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support dispatcher in managing daily operations for a fleet of20+ trucks
• Communicate with brokers: send updates, request documents, and follow up on lumper, detention, layover, and TONU
• Accurately build, update, and close loads in the TMS
• Monitor load status and respond promptly to broker updates or changes
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Collect, verify, and submit all required paperwork (BOLs, PODs, etc.) to brokers on time

Requirements:

• Previous experience in trucking or logistics (dispatch, tracking, or operations preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with operational data
• Experience with TMS systems and load tracking tools is a plus
• English communication skills at B1+ level
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Work Conditions:

• Full-time, remote position during US business hours (6AM — 4PM CST)
• Reliable internet connection and personal computer required
• Ongoing training and support provided by the Dispatch Manager
