Dispatcher (US, flatbed, step deck)

Position: Dispatcher (remote)

Schedule: Monday — Friday, 7:00 AM — 5:00 PM (Central Time)

What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage load requests: Receive and review loads via phone and email, ensuring all details are clear and accurate.
• Negotiate and schedule: Quote routes and secure the best rates, ensuring drivers are scheduled for both local and national routes.
• Dispatch with precision: Provide clear instructions to drivers, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Stay proactive: Keep dispatch boards updated and find new opportunities by negotiating with brokers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Build relationships: Develop lasting connections with brokers, customers, and drivers, becoming a trusted point of contact for everyone involved.
• Lead with confidence: Monitor driver status and routes, offering support as needed to ensure a smooth operation.

What We Are Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in the US Market
• Negotiation skills and the ability to confidently manage rates.
• Strong communication: You’ll be the link between drivers, brokers, and customers, so we need someone who’s professional, both written and spoken.
• Tech-savvy: Knowledge of ProTransport and Motive is a plus, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Organized & self-motivated: You should thrive working independently and be able to manage multiple tasks with precision.
• A positive, proactive attitude: We believe in creating a supportive environment for everyone on the team.
