Job Description: We are seeking a Logistics Specialist with at least2 years of experience FTL (Full Truckload) freight shipping to manage and optimize logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English, along with a proven track record of solving customer and carrier-related issues, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high-quality service standards. Knowledge of DAT freight marketplace is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Quote, coordinate, manage, and optimize FTL shipments from origin to destination.
• Post loads, find carriers, check market rates before quoting customers, monitor freight market conditions
• Communicate effectively with customers and carriers to resolve any shipping-related issues.
• Track and manage shipment progress to ensure timely deliveries and minimize delays.
• Provide proactive updates to customers regarding shipment status, potential delays, or problems.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and resolve disputes or claims in a professional manner.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting of shipments.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience FTL freight shipping logistics.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Proven experience in handling customer and carrier-related problems efficiently.
• Proficient in logistics software TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and DAT.
• Knowledge of domestic (US) regulations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of DAT, one of the largest freight marketplaces is a must.
