Mechanical engineer

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, specification, and analysis of rotating and static equipment—pumps, compressors, vessels, exchangers, and piping systems—ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability across project life cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and specify rotating/static equipment and piping layouts.
• Conduct thermal and mechanical calculations for pressure vessels and exchangers.
• Perform stress, vibration, and dynamic analyses for system optimization.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs), datasheets, and bid evaluations.
• Review vendor drawings and participate in FAT/SAT and testing activities.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5−10 years of experience in EPC, refinery, or LNG facility design.
• Familiar with API, ASME, TEMA, and ANSI standards.
• Skilled in Caesar II, AutoPIPE, or equivalent analysis tools.
