Job Title: Trucking Coordinator / Planner Assistant (Remote)

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Coordinator (Planner) Assistant to support daily dispatch and load planning operations for our U.S. trucking company. This is a remote position and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work with shipping documents and driver statuses.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify BOL (Bill of Lading) and POD (Proof of Delivery)
• Correctly read and understand BOLs (pallets, pieces, weight, make sure delivery location matches rate confirmation)
• Record PLT / PCS counts and weight from BOLs
• Check if trailers have available space and add notes when applicable
• Verify seal numbers match shipping documents
• Monitor and update driver status
• Dispatch drivers when trailers are empty
• Track, monitor, and follow up on detention
• Report discrepancies or issues promptly
• Check trailer numbers

Requirements:

• High attention to detail (must)
• Understanding of trucking/logistics operations
• Ability to read and interpret BOL and POD documents
• Responsible, dependable, and able to work independently
• Dispatch, logistics, or trucking experience is a must (from 1 year)
• Organizational and communication skills are a plus.
