Orthodontic Experts company is an orthodontic practice with multiple locations in the USA and with more than 14 years of continuous commitment to make a difference in the lives of our patients. We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to provide technical and user support via support tickets and projects. In this role, you will support various enterprise applications through team participation on database management, system upgrades, documentation, reporting, troubleshooting, and training.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in system administration, programming, report writing, documentation, relational databases, and communication skills.
This role is fully remote and all communications and collaboration can be handled virtually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assigned application (s) account management throughout the full user lifecycle (MACD).
- Reset passwords; manage biometric setup, where applicable.
- Create, maintain, and test assigned application runbook (s).
- Follow password complexity policies and the RBAC security model.
- Manage Patient Portal security where applicable.
- Escalate outages and access failures.
- Report security or privacy concerns and participate in SIRT as required.
- Maintain device connections.
- Ensure imaging cache connections.
- Troubleshoot performance, login, and animation issues.
- Create and maintain system documentation with established OEM Runbooks.
- Handle OEM IT Application tickets through to resolution.
- Communicate with end users to evaluate business processes, assess needs, identify challenges, and define user requirements, project scope, and deliverables.
- Maintain workflow documentation.
- Participate in Change Management Advisory Board calls for the systems that you are responsible for.
- Review data for discrepancies; address as needed.
- Create dashboards and generate reports as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in system administration and programming
- Proficiency with relational databases, including design, queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
- Required knowledge of English on B2+ level
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in system administration, programming, or a related field
- Experience with report writing.
- Proven experience with problem solving.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Experience in healthcare with clinical and financial applications is preferred.
- Availability in the evenings, in line with the US working hours
