Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for the quality assurance of a Shopify store and all related integrations for the project. The main focus is manual testing, validation of business logic, and ensuring the stability of e-commerce processes.

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of the Shopify store (frontend)
• Testing integrations (payment systems, CRM, email services, analytics, etc.)
• Validation of checkout flow, customer accounts, subscriptions, customer purchase flow, etc.
• Writing and maintaining test cases and checklists
• Regression and smoke testing before releases
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs in a task management system
• Collaboration with developers, designers, and the product team

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in QA
• Understanding of website and e-commerce testing principles
• Experience testing e-commerce projects (a strong plus)
• Ability to work with DevTools (Network, Console)
• English — conversational level (mandatory)

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Shopify
• Experience in test automation (Playwright / Cypress / Selenium)
• Ability to use AI tools to optimize testing processes

Ideal Candidate

A person who doesn’t just «click through» but actually thinks like a user, understands e-commerce logic, and can identify non-trivial bugs in checkout flows, payments, and subscriptions.
