Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for the quality assurance of a Shopify store and all related integrations for the project. The main focus is manual testing, validation of business logic, and ensuring the stability of e-commerce processes.

• 5/2, 30 h/week at the beginning with opportunity to extend to 40h/week

Responsibilities

• Manual testing of the Shopify online stores (frontend)
• Testing integrations (CRM, Marketing, 3rd-party apps & pluggins)
• Validation of checkout flow, customer accounts, subscriptions, quizes, customer purchase flow, new product launches and etc.
• Writing and maintaining test cases and checklists
• Regression and smoke testing before releases
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs in a task management system
• Collaboration with developers, designers, product and marketing teams
• Improvment of the general/routine testing workflow

Requirements

• 1+ year of commercial experience in QA (or similar) role *
• 6+ month of commercial experince in e-commerce (Shopify preferably) *
• Understanding of website and e-commerce testing principles
• Ability to work with DevTools
• English — conversational level *
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of QA methodologies, types of testing, and the software development lifecycle
• Experience writing clear and well-structured test documentation
• Practical experience working with bug tracking and project management systems (Jira, Linear, Trello, etc.)

• Experience working with Shopify
• Experience in test automation (Playwright / Cypress / Selenium)
• Ability to use AI tools to optimize testing processes
