Опис вакансії

Main purpose of job:

Your will be requested to co-manage the Embassy’s fleet of vehicles, taking joint responsibility with one other colleague for securing insurance, regular maintenance checks, arranging seasonal tyre changes, repairs etc. Coordination with driving teams and some management of transport requests. The jobholder will also be expected to provide administrative support and provide cover for other team member in the wider Embassy Corporate Services Team.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Ensure vehicles are regularly cleaned, maintained and fit for purpose (you will not be expected to clean the vehicles yourself);
  • Procurement and management of vehicle insurance;
  • Procurement of vehicles and spares;
  • Arranging repairs when necessary;
  • Responsibility for fuel supplies;
  • Management of the Transport and Vehicle maintenance budget; forecasting monthly spend;
  • Any other admin ad-hoc tasks that could arise, including providing cover for colleagues as required.

This is a part-time fixed-term contract, for 24 working hours per week.
