Strong Middle Flutter Developer

Remote position for strong Middle Flutter developer in a small and friendly team.

HotShots Labs is a small team with a focus on cross-platform mobile development. Our clients are all from over the world.

We are looking for a responsible person with a passion for technology. You should be confident enough in your skills and have at least 2 years of commercial Flutter development experience to be able to take over some of our projects.

Our team is led by a Senior Mobile Developer with over 7 years of experience and a Project Manager who will organize a clear workflow.

We provide ongoing support without much supervision. It’s a remote position with a flexible schedule. You’re free to choose when and how much you want to work, all that matters is delivering high-quality results on time.

Primary Requirements:

• Flutter & Dart development, at least 2 years of commercial experience. Experience with the full delivery process. Strong understanding of BLoC/Cubit, Freezed, json_serializable, build_runner. Understanding of sealed/union types for state modeling. Strong understanding of Navigator 2.0 (optionally GoRouter, etc.). Experience with CustomPainters, Slivers, LayoutBuilders
• Experience with feature-based architectures. Strong knowledge of separation between business logic and UI. Understanding of offline-first development
• Experience working with REST APIs. Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, status codes, error handling. Experience with Supabase (optionally Firebase), understanding of RLS, RPC, authentication, table schemas, Edge Functions, etc. Experience working with push notifications, subscriptions (RevenueCat)
• Experience working with Git. Ability to write readable, maintainable code: meaningful naming, small classes/methods, SRP. Basic experience with CI/CD
• Ability to understand and decompose tasks, provide quality estimations, and find solutions independently

Nice-to-Have:

• English proficiency sufficient for communicating in Slack or writing PR descriptions
• Degree in computer science, at least a bachelor’s
• Prompt engineering skills and experience with various AI tools. Basic knowledge of MCP, AI skills, agents, and sub-agents
• Familiarity with Cloudflare R2 or S3-compatible storages
• Experience with Fastlane, FVM, flavors
