Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities of a US-based Company, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management transactions, and employee expenses.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Accounting

• Posting journal entries, including bank transactions, employee expense reports, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and revenue recognition entries
• Reconciling accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and preparing supporting documents
• Preparing monthly compensation calculations and communicating with contractors regarding expense-related matters
• Preparing monthly revenue accruals
• Managing the full-cycle billing process
• Maintaining accounting documentation and internal registers
• Preparing contractor-related documents for signature and maintaining contractor documentation flow (agreements, contractor records, and reporting)

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet
• Preparing management accounting reports
• Preparing variance analysis reports (actual vs. budget / forecast)
• Supporting the CFO with operational data analysis and routine financial analysis

Reconciliations, Audit & Compliance

• Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounting records and preparing supporting documentation

Additional Support

• Carrying out other reasonable ad hoc duties to support the Finance Department

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ year of accounting experience would be an advantage (We're open to train a candidate with limited experience who demonstrates strong motivation and attention to detail and holds Bachelor’s degree in Accounting)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Confidence working with Excel / Google spreadsheets and financial data
• Working knowledge of Quick Books and/or other foreign accounting systems will be considered a strong advantage

Soft Skills:

• At least Intermediate level of English proficiency (Please note: all documentation is in English)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across different levels of management

• Experience working in an international company will be considered a strong advantage
