Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality initiatives across our product ecosystem. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and usability of our platform, which powers the operations of one of Austria’s fastest-growing automotive supply companies.

As a senior QA engineer, you’ll define testing approaches and work closely with developers to consistently deliver reliable, high-performing software. Location: Lviv Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Strong Middle, Senior

Responsibilities

● Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices

● Lead test planning, design, and execution for complex features and integrations

● Perform manual and exploratory testing across UI, API

● Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality goals

● Own defect triage and root cause analysis for critical issues

● Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools

● Contribute to release planning and risk assessment

Requirements

● 4+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role

● Strong understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, and SDLC

● Solid understanding of Agile principles and practical experience in Scrum ceremonies

and workflows

● Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)

● Solid experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.)

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release workflows

● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

● English proficiency — upper intermediate or higher

Will be a plus

● Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)

● Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)

● Experience in mentoring junior QA engineers
