Position Overview

We are now looking for a Middle-level Business Controllerto strengthen our finance organization. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, providing financial insights, performance follow-up, and analytical support to enable fact-based decision-making. You will operate independently in your area of responsibility while collaborating closely with senior controllers and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a financial partner for assigned business areas or functions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes
• Analyze monthly performance, identify deviations, and explain financial results
• Prepare management reports and dashboards with clear business insights
• Support cost control, profitability analysis, and business cases
• Contribute to financial closing activities and ensure data accuracy
• Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes and reporting tools
• Ensure compliance with Volvo Group financial policies and internal controls

Profile & Skills

• Solid experience in a Business Controller or Finance Analyst role
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Typically 3−5 years of relevant experience in controlling, finance, or audit
• Good knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI is an advantage
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
