About the role:

Python/Odoo Developer who will develop, adapt, and ensure the stable performance of the Odoo Enterprise system.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, technical support, and further configuration of the existing Odoo Enterprise system.
• Developing customizations and expanding system functionality exclusively by creating separate modules and using inheritance (without modifying the core) to ensure update compatibility and license compliance.
• Handling high-complexity data operations: converting, cleaning, field mapping, and importing large volumes of data from legacy systems or external sources (CSV, XLSX, XML, JSON) using built-in tools or custom scripts.
• Creating and configuring templates and reports using XML and QWeb.
• Prompt incident response, diagnosing, and fixing bugs in custom code (core system bugs are covered by the Enterprise subscription).
• Independent quality control: testing changes in a separate Staging environment before deploying to Production, maintaining Git commits, and writing changelogs in English.
• Direct communication with non-technical stakeholders (COO): proactively clarifying business requirements, clearly explaining technical solutions, and warning about the potential risks of any changes.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial development experience at a Middle/Middle+ level.
• Mandatory hands-on experience specifically with Odoo Enterprise (working with Enterprise modules, Studio tools, and typically Odoo.sh hosting).
• Deep knowledge of Python (Odoo core, ORM, models, business logic) and PostgreSQL/SQL (data structures, query optimization, and performance diagnostics).
• Experience with XML / QWeb for building reports.
• Confident use of Git, working with Pull Requests, and adhering to a culture of clear commits and code documentation.
• English level B1+ or higher (sufficient for reading Odoo documentation, communicating with official vendor tech support, and writing comments/changelogs in English).
• High level of autonomy, responsibility, integrity, and strict adherence to data security protocols.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of JavaScript / OWL (Odoo frontend), experience with Odoo version migrations, skills in rapid configuration via Odoo Studio, and administration of Odoo.sh or custom hosting.
