About Role

As our company’s fleet grows, we seek an experienced Safety Manager to join our team in Kyiv office. At this role you will be responsible for ensuring safety policies compliance, accident prevention and claims resolution.

At this position you will be responsible for:

• Ensure company adherence to all local, state, and federal transport and workplace safety regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA).

• Monitor driver performance, conduct spot checks, and implement driver safety programs.

• Lead investigations for accidents, injuries, or property damage to determine root causes.

• Act as the company liaison with insurance agencies to process and manage equipment and liability claims.

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

• Promote and build a proactive «safety-first» culture among all operational staff and management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as Safety Manager in US based logistics company;

• Advanced verbal and written English skills.

• Understanding of HOS, DOT and FMCSA regulations and general trucking safety/compliance procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
