Unity 3D C# developer (Driving Simulators)

WHO WE ARE

• We are a small team (switzerland — moldova — germany — ukraine) and one of few european companies which are focussed to Virtual Reality-based learning scenarios. We are mainly developing our own products, namely a VR-based driver education. We will sell this driver education in 12 countries to 10'000 clients and save them money.

MAIN TASKS

The problem is: we have a first presentation on 20 of august. so we don’t have much time. only people who can prototype efficiently and focus on the best outcome with least amount of work. Ideally, you would be ok that we give you more work that would be paid extra / which you could compensate after 23rd of august.

• Migrating our old project (Unity 2020) to new system
• Integrating Replay-functionalities
• Integrating people / cars who would crash into our vehicle.
• Integrating with Hardware (Arduino buttons etc.)
• Optimizing our solution that relies on Open Street Map for data in unity.
• implementing flexible traffic light system
• cars should behave naturally: slow down before curves, have individual speed (slightly different speeds depending on the vehicle), stopping at traffic lights, set their indicator, vary in how good they follow the lane (e.g., some are blocking the way of bicyclists because they drive too much to the right).
• Improve the procedural generation of buildings and props based on OSM to make it
• Performance optimization: instructional system, car, other traffic, loaded tiles — everything has to work on runtime on quest 3s
• assisting our developer in adding special logic for our instructional system

YOUR PROFILE

Smart Software Developer (preferred: from igor sikorsky polytechnical institute of kyiv… but anyone with a smart brain is highly welcomed to apply)

Depending on Workload, you will also support us in developing our node-based instructional system for the driver education (editor scripts)

We are looking for a self-reliant person who is known for providing fast work and focus on the most important needs and requests of the client. You should be able to check the quality of your project on your own and think from a client’s perspective if the situations that you are developing are good or need to be reworked.

Beware that the job is maybe limited to 3−4 months. depending on our contracts and your work, we might have the ability to continue to work together.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Unity3D / C#
• We prefer Experienced Developers
• English skills: speech and written
• You are an efficient user of AI, e.g. you use AI code generator AI Toolbox with ChatGPT, DALL·E, Whisper, Gemini etc | Generative AI | Unity Asset Store as a base for generating stuff and move on from there instead of trying to invent everything from scratch.

HOW WE WORK

40 hours, Mo-Fr from 9 or 10 — 17.30h or 18.30 with a 30 — 60 minutes break. it might be possible to find more flexible solutions

at beginning, you make a planning for your tasks, when which task will be done and roughly what it takes.

every morning you give us your 2−3 tasks that you want to work on and checkin when you begin to work. at the end of the day you checkout and send us a short video of your achieved results of the day.
