Social Content Manager

To get there, we need Verba to become impossible to ignore.
That’s why we’re looking for a Social Content Manager — someone who can turn Verba’s product, features, use cases, memes, trends, and creator pain points into social content people actually want to watch, save, share, and try.
This role is deeply connected to video. You don’t have to be a professional filmmaker, but you must genuinely love either creating, editing, analyzing, or experimenting with video content. Verba is a video-first product, and we need someone who understands why video works, what makes people watch, and how to make content feel native to each platform.
You won’t «manage social media.»
You’ll build Verba’s organic content engine across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and YouTube Shorts.
About the role
You’ll own how Verba shows up on social — from idea to production, publishing, analysis, and iteration.
This doesn’t mean you must personally shoot every video yourself. It’s a big plus if you enjoy being on camera and creating UGC-style content, but the role is broader than that.
You can create content in different ways:
- by filming yourself
- by editing tutorials and product videos
- by using AI personas or AI-generated visuals
- by working with UGC creators
- by collaborating with bloggers and creators
- by helping our CEO turn ideas, product insights, and founder POV into social content
- by repurposing product use cases into native short-form videos
The important part: you love video content, move fast, understand social formats, and can turn ideas into published content without waiting for perfect conditions.
You’ll work directly with our CEO and our TikTok Manager.
What you’ll do
Production (60% of your time)
- Concept, create, edit, and publish videos across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and YouTube Shorts: tutorials, memes, sketches, listicles, educational content, founder-led content, product demos, trend adaptations, and creator-focused content.
- Create content yourself when relevant — on-camera UGC style is a big plus, but not the only possible format.
- Use AI tools, AI personas, UGC creators, creator collaborations, and product recordings to produce content quickly and consistently.
- Turn Verba’s features and use cases into simple, engaging videos that creators immediately understand.
- Spot trends and adapt them to Verba within 24 hours, not next week.
- Use Verba in your own workflow — you should become one of the most engaged users of the product.
- Constantly test hooks, formats, editing styles, captions, pacing, and CTAs.
Strategy & planning (15%)
- Own the content calendar across all channels: what gets posted, when, on which channel, and why.
- Build a repeatable content system, not random posting.
- Lead our Threads playbook: build daily presence, drive traffic to the profile and lead magnets.
- Test new formats first, document what works, and double down on winners.
- Translate product launches, user pain points, creator trends, and CEO ideas into social-first content.
Creator partnerships (15%)
- Scout micro and mid-tier creators in video editing, content creation, expert/SMM, and UGC niches.
- Write personal outreach — we don’t do mass DMs.
- Run collaborations end to end: from idea and brief to delivery, feedback, publishing, and performance analysis.
- Build a network of creators who can help Verba show up authentically in the creator economy.
- Explore barter, paid, hybrid, and long-term collaboration formats.
Analytics & iteration (10%)
- Prepare weekly recaps: what hit, what didn’t, hook rate, save rate, comments-to-views ratio, retention, shares, follower growth.
- Track UTM clicks, app installs by channel, profile visits, and other signals of social impact.
- Turn numbers into next-week actions.
- Present learnings to the team every Friday.
What we expect (Must have)
- 1+ year producing social-first content — either for brands, startups, creators, or your own audience.
- Genuine love for video content: creating it, editing it, analyzing it, or experimenting with formats.
- Strong portfolio: Reels / TikToks / Shorts with 10K+ organic views per video on average .
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and creator-first content.
- You know social algorithms from running accounts, not just from courses.
- Fast turnaround: you can move from idea to published content quickly.
- Good taste in content: hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, visual rhythm, and platform-native formats.
- Ability to work independently without waiting for detailed briefs.
- Ability to read analytics and turn numbers into content decisions.
Nice to have
- You’re comfortable on camera and can record UGC-style content without it feeling like a corporate ad.
- Your own active account in content creation / creator economy / video editing.
- Hands-on experience with Threads.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and creator partnerships.
- Experience using AI tools in your production workflow.
- Experience creating content for mobile apps, SaaS, AI tools, creator tools, or B2C products.
- Basic understanding of video editing workflows and creator pain points.
