About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our software development team working on enterprise solutions for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.

You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, QA engineers, and colleagues based in the United States. This position requires regular communication in English during meetings and daily project activities.

Working hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).

Experience with test automation or an interest in developing automation skills will be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of healthcare-related web applications and APIs.
• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure product quality before releases.
• Validate application behavior and data accuracy.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and project managers.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, QA discussions, and project meetings.
• Communicate regularly with US-based colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience creating clear test documentation and structured bug reports.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with issue-tracking and project-management systems such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher.
• Ability to participate in meetings and communicate with American colleagues in English.
• Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright.
• Experience with NUnit.
• Basic knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Understanding of test automation principles.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Previous experience with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated software products.
