Hey there 👋

We’re Lunola — a small startup building an AI-native chat-marketing platform for ecommerce businesses. Think ManyChat, but with AI built in from day one instead of as a paid add-on, honest pricing with no surprise fees, and CRM + local payments baked in from the start.

Our platform lets online stores automate their Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp conversations — the AI answers customer DMs and comments, pushes order updates, moves deals through the CRM, and handles payments. We’re building for Ukraine, Europe, and the US.

We’re looking for a junior+ backend developer to grow with us and help build the real thing, not busywork.

What you’ll actually work on

You’ll be part of a tiny team, so your code ships and matters. Early on you’ll help build our core product loop:

• Backend services and APIs that power the AI chat automation
• Integrations with Meta (Instagram / Facebook / WhatsApp), CRM (KeyCRM), and payment providers (LiqPay, WayForPay)
• The AI response layer that replies to customer messages using each store’s knowledge base
• Order notifications and pipeline automation
• Data modeling and clean, reliable database work with PostgreSQL + Prisma

You won’t be alone — being a small team means lots of mentorship, direct ownership, and a real say in how we build things.

Must-haves

• Solid JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience with Next.js
• PostgreSQL + Prisma (or similar SQL + ORM experience)
• Comfort building and consuming APIs
• Ukrainian and English (working proficiency in both)
• A junior+ level: you don’t need years of experience, but you should be able to build features independently and learn fast

Nice to have (bonus, not required)

• Experience with payment integrations (LiqPay, WayForPay, Stripe, etc.)
• Docker and basic CI/CD
• Any exposure to NestJS (our backend framework — you’ll learn it here if you haven’t)
• Experience with Meta / WhatsApp APIs or AI/LLM integrations

The details

• Type: Full-time
• Where: Remote
• Pay: $500−600 / month
• Trial: 2-month trial period — if it goes well (and we think it will), it turns into a long-term role + restructure of salary (600−800$)
