What you’ll be doing:

• Search for and qualify contract manufacturers in the US, China, and Europe for current and future product forms.
• Source ingredient and packaging suppliers, and build and maintain a supplier database by country, capacity, MOQ, lead time, price, and certifications.
• Run RFQs and compare manufacturers by COGS, MOQ, lead time, capacity, and documentation quality.
• Screen manufacturers to confirm real production capability, and verify GMP, FDA, ISO, and HACCP certifications.
• Conduct audits and prepare supplier risk memos before final selection.
• Work with the Brand/Marketing/Amazon team on product development, evaluating technological feasibility, stability, and organoleptic properties.
• Recommend production strategy by country (US/China/Europe) based on cost, compliance risk, and scalability, and build backup-supplier plans for critical SKUs.
• Collect and verify a complete documentation pack for each product, and prepare gap reports on missing documents.
• Manage the sample process end-to-end — technical briefs, sample iterations, and comparisons against the current product.
• Oversee pilot batches and first production orders, and monitor quality at the pre-production, production, and retain-sample stages.
• Prepare a release recommendation before batch release.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in dietary supplements, food supplements, nutraceuticals, or adjacent categories.
• Understanding of contract manufacturing: gummies, liquids/drops, capsules, softgels, powders, sachets.
• Experience sourcing manufacturers and ingredient/packaging suppliers in the US, Europe, and/or China, or the ability to quickly build a verification system.
• Commercial mindset: COGS, MOQ, lead time, capacity, payment terms, scalability, supplier risk.
• Understanding of formulas, dosages, technological constraints, organoleptics, stability, and batch consistency.
• Ability to adapt desired claims and formulas to production reality together with the marketing team.
• Ability to read and verify COA, specifications, ingredient documents, finished product documents, and third-party lab reports.
• Understanding of GMP/FDA/ISO/HACCP requirements and Amazon compliance for the supplements category.
• Skilled at building structured tools: supplier scorecards, RFQs, audit checklists, document checklists, production readiness checklists.
• Bachelor’s degree; English at confident Intermediate+.

Additional skills we’d love to see:

• Background in chemistry, biology, or food science strong enough to independently evaluate ingredient compatibility and stability — not just manage the process.
• Experience navigating US FDA facility registration requirements.
• Comfort operating as the internal «product expert,» advising Brand and Sales teams directly.
