Business Analyst (ERP / B2B Operations / International Team)

SAGA-ALLIANCE is an international software company developing and maintaining an enterprise ERP platform used by multiple Business Units across Germany, France, Slovenia, Spain, and other European countries.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys analyzing business processes, optimizing operational workflows, and acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team.

Salary

€2,600−3,400/month, depending on experience and interview results.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and optimize business processes.
• Gather, clarify, and structure business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, and QA engineers.
• Facilitate workshops and requirements discussions.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain project documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Validate business logic, workflows, and data using SQL.
• Participate in planning, designing, and delivering new ERP features.
• Ensure that proposed solutions align with company-wide standards and business objectives.

Requirements

Business & Process Analysis

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.
• Ability to analyze and document business workflows.
• Experience with process mapping and business process optimization.
• Ability to identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured functional requirements.

ERP & Business Operations

Experience with one or more of the following:

• ERP systems
• CRM systems
• WMS systems
• Order lifecycle management
• Inventory and stock management
• Purchasing
• Invoicing
• Logistics
• Distribution
• B2B operational processes

Experience in logistics, wholesale, or distribution companies is considered a strong advantage.

Documentation & Coordination

• Experience writing clear functional specifications.
• Experience creating User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills.
• Good understanding of relational databases.
• Experience writing and analyzing JOIN queries.
• Ability to validate business logic and workflows using SQL.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
• Understanding of system dependencies and technical limitations.
• Familiarity with Development, Test, Staging, and Production environments, as well as software release processes.

Communication Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business users and software engineers.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and requirements discussions.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to clarify ambiguous business requirements and transform them into actionable tasks.

Governance Mindset

• Understanding that an ERP platform is a shared ecosystem serving multiple Business Units.
• Ability to evaluate the cross-functional impact of system changes.
• Experience working within company-wide IT governance and standards is a plus.

English

Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher is required.

This role involves daily communication with colleagues and business stakeholders from multiple European countries.

Interview Process

Stage 1 — Technical Interview (60−90 minutes)

The first interview includes:

• SQL questions
• Business analysis case studies
• Requirements gathering scenarios
• Business process analysis
• Discussion of your previous experience

Stage 2 — Interview with the Director of SAGA-ALLIANCE (English)

The second interview is conducted entirely in English and includes:

• Personal introduction
• Discussion of your professional experience
• Communication skills
• Motivation and career goals
• Experience working in international environments
