Dispatch Team Lead, Supervisor (US Trucking)

We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Team Lead / Supervisor to support our dispatch team, coordinate daily operations, and improve overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Process Management

• Set and track targets and performance goals for dispatchers.
• Coordinate the daily work of the dispatch team and help prioritize tasks.
• Organize and lead regular team meetings.
• Monitor reports, load updates, and documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of new dispatchers.
• Provide regular feedback and support team members in improving their performance.

Fleet & Operational Coordination

• Ensure loads are properly entered and updated in the system.
• Monitor daily operations and step in during busy periods or urgent situations.
• Support dispatchers with complex situations involving drivers, brokers, loads, and delays.
• Help resolve operational issues and ensure proper follow-up.
• Coordinate documentation and compliance-related tasks with other departments.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and workflow.

Growth & Development

• Identify weak points in current processes and suggest practical improvements.
• Collaborate with management on staffing needs, team performance, and development.
• Participate in projects focused on improving communication and efficiency across departments.
• Help implement new processes and ensure they are followed by the team.
• Stay up to date with U.S. trucking market practices and continuously develop professional skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in U.S. truck dispatching.
• Experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, Senior Dispatcher, or similar role.
• Good knowledge of the U.S. freight market and broker communication.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
• English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.
• Responsible, proactive, and results-oriented.
