Senior Market Intelligence Consultant, Project Lead

Kyiv Strategy Consulting, a subsidiary of BDO Germany and part of the global BDO network, is looking for a Senior Market Intelligence Consultant / Project Lead to take ownership of projects from initial client discussion to final delivery.

What you will do:

• Lead customer & market intelligence assignments, as well as projects related to strategy, operations, M&A and more end-to-end, from understanding the client’s business needs to final delivery
• Develop the methodology and analytical approach for each project, selecting relevant consulting frameworks
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to generate robust hypotheses and develop actionable recommendations
• Lead and coordinate small project teams, allocate tasks, manage timelines and control the quality of deliverables
• Stay hands-on in the most complex analytical work, support projects with rigorous analysis and insights, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
• Develop high-quality, client-ready deliverables covering market analysis, industry trend reports, competitive landscape, benchmarking analysis, and thought leadership reports
• Mentor and support junior team members, helping them develop their consulting and analytical skills
• Contribute to selected business development activities, leveraging project insights and client relationships to support proposals and new business opportunities

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in consulting, Big-4, research, think tanks or a similar analytical environment
• Proven experience in delivering market intelligence, industry reports, competitive analysis and thought leadership projects
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Intellectual curiosity and openness to exploring new perspectives and unconventional solutions
• Ability to independently structure complex or ambiguous business questions and develop practical solutions
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Collaborative team player with the ability to think independently and challenge assumptions
• Strong ownership, communication, time management and people management skills
• Willingness to combine project leadership with hands-on analytical delivery
• Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
• Fluency in English (C1)

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with consulting frameworks, such as market sizing, scenario planning and benchmarking
• Experience presenting findings directly to clients or senior stakeholders
• Experience with tools, digital platforms, and emerging capabilities such as generative AI to support analysis and decision making
• Previous involvement in business development initiatives
