PHP Developer (Support)

INFOBUS Holding is one of the leading European platforms for searching and purchasing bus, train, and flight tickets. We connect transport companies and travelers, creating convenient solutions for planning and booking trips.

We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our team and help support and maintain partner APIs and existing PHP-based software.

The main focus of the role is to ensure the stable and uninterrupted operation of our systems and integrations, troubleshoot and resolve issues, improve existing APIs, and support partners with technical integration-related questions.

This role is a great fit for a developer who enjoys troubleshooting, analyzing complex issues, working with APIs and integrations, and improving existing systems.

What You Will Do:

PHP Development & System Support

• Maintain and support existing PHP-based software.
• Ensure the stable and reliable operation of systems and their components.
• Fix bugs and resolve system failures and technical issues.
• Participate in improving and developing existing functionality.
• Analyze code and identify the root causes of bugs and system issues.

Databases & Performance

• Work with MySQL databases.
• Write and optimize SQL queries.
• Analyze and improve application and database performance.
• Identify performance bottlenecks in code and queries.

API Development & Integration

• Maintain and improve REST APIs.
• Support integrations with external systems and partners.
• Analyze API requests and responses.
• Diagnose and resolve integration-related issues.
• Work with JSON and XML data formats.
• Use API documentation to support and troubleshoot integrations.
• Help partners connect to and use our APIs.
• Provide technical consultations to partners on API-related issues.

Troubleshooting & Monitoring

• Analyze system logs and identify errors.
• Investigate the root causes of system failures and unstable behavior.
• Reproduce, localize, and resolve bugs.
• Diagnose API issues, including incorrect requests and responses.
• Test APIs using tools such as Postman and cURL.

Documentation

• Maintain and update technical documentation when required.
• Document solutions and technical issues to support efficient communication within the team and with partners.

What We Expect From You:

• Confident knowledge of PHP 7.4+.
• Experience working with MySQL.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries.
• Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Good understanding of HTTP protocols and API communication principles.
• Experience working with JSON and XML.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues.
• Experience working with logs and identifying errors.
• Experience diagnosing API issues and integration problems.
• Ability to reproduce, localize, and fix bugs.
• Understanding of application and database performance optimization.
• Experience working with API documentation.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman, cURL, or similar tools.
• Ability to analyze partner requests and identify integration issues.
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical problems and solutions.
• Experience working with Git.

Work Schedule: The position includes weekend duty rotation: one day of work on either Saturday or Sunday, with one weekday off in return.
