Part-Time Developer (Next. js, Supabase, eyre.ai)

eyre.ai is a Canadian-hosted, privacy-first video meeting platform — a sovereign alternative to Zoom and Teams for regulated organisations (legal, government, healthcare). The product is live, with active users and pilots, and expanding into Europe.

The role

We are looking for a developer to take ownership of our existing live platform: maintaining it, stabilising it, and building new features. The original developer has moved on, so an early priority is getting familiar with the codebase and becoming the person who confidently owns and extends it. You will work directly with the founder with real autonomy and end-to-end responsibility.

Tech stack

• Frontend: Next.js
• Backend: Supabase
• Real-time video (WebRTC-based integration)

What you’ll do

• Get up to speed on the existing Next.js / Supabase codebase and document it as you go
• Keep the live platform stable for current users
• Fix issues and build new features
• Advise on technical decisions as we scale into Canada and then Europe

What we’re looking for

• Solid experience with Next.js and Supabase on live products (middle-to-senior)
• Confident picking up and owning an unfamiliar codebase
• Experience with real-time video / WebRTC a strong plus
• Self-directed, clear communicator, comfortable as the sole developer on a small team

Arrangement: part-time, remote, flexible hours. Rate by agreement.
