Chief Supervision Engineer (CC3)

EPTISA Ukraine is looking for an experienced Chief Local Supervision Engineer to join our team and support the implementation and supervision of an international water infrastructure project in Ukraine.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the local construction supervision team and ensure effective supervision of works.
• Monitor construction progress and quality of water infrastructure facilities, including treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and water supply networks.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, Ukrainian regulations and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate the supervision of civil, mechanical and electrical works.
• Review contractors' work programmes, technical documentation, method statements and other submissions.
• Identify construction issues and non-conformities and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare and review supervision reports, progress documentation and other technical reports.
• Liaise with the Client, contractors, Project Management Team and other stakeholders on construction-related matters.

Requirements

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience in the planning, implementation and monitoring of water infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience with water treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and water supply/transmission networks.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar construction supervision role within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven experience in the design and construction of water infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating civil, mechanical and electrical works will be considered an advantage.
• Valid Ukrainian qualification certificate for technical supervision of construction works (CC3) is mandatory.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and international/IFI-funded projects will be considered an advantage.
• Strong leadership, coordination and communication skills.
• Fluent English is required; knowledge of Ukrainian and/or other local languages will be considered an asset.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and other standard office applications.
