Intermodal Dispatcher

Position: Rail / Intermodal Dispatcher (Freight Booker)

Responsibilities:

• Actively search, negotiate, and book profitable freight tailored for rail and intermodal transport ;
• Communicate with brokers and direct customers to secure rail loads and expand our freight pipeline;
• Monitor freight market trends, load boards (DAT, Truckstop), and lane rates to maximize margins;
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with freight brokers and shippers;
• Collaborate closely with our tracking and rail coordination team to ensure smooth transitions from booking to ramp delivery;
• Meet weekly/monthly booking targets in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Requirements:

• At least 1+ year of experience in US logistics dispatching / freight sales;
• Proven track record in booking rail / intermodal / container loads (understanding ramp cut-offs, rail lanes, and equipment requirements);
• Hands-on experience with major load boards (DAT One, Truckstop) and rate negotiation;
• Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English skills (both verbal and written);
• Strong negotiation skills, proactive attitude, and ability to handle high-volume calling.
