Research Analyst (Strategic Research)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Analyst to join our Strategic Research team.

This role involves conducting in-depth research and analysis on issues related to critical

materials, the defense industry, economic security, international trade, geopolitics,

sanctions, and other strategic topics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing information from a

wide range of sources, identifying trends and risks, and producing high-quality analytical

outputs to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct strategic and applied research across a range of assigned topics.

● Collect, verify, and analyze information from open sources (OSINT), international

databases, public registries, academic publications, and industry reports.

● Prepare analytical reports, research papers, briefing notes, presentations, and other

research deliverables.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Economics, International

Relations, Political Science, Law, Public Administration, Security Studies, Engineering, or

another relevant discipline.

● Knowledge of metallurgy, materials sMonitor global developments related to critical

materials, defense industries, supply chains, sanctions, international trade, and

geopolitical risks.

● Analyze regulatory frameworks, market developments, and emerging strategic trends.

● Support ongoing research projects and contribute to the development of new analytical

products.

● Perform additional research and analytical assignments as required.

Quince, critical materials, metals, and industrial supply chains is required.

● Previous experience in research, intelligence, consulting, policy analysis, or analytical

roles is considered an advantage.

● Understanding of critical materials, metals, material science, and industrial supply

chains.

● English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher.

● Excellent analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.

● Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear, evidence-based

conclusions.

● Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience using OSINT methodologies and analytical tools.

● Knowledge of critical materials, defense industrial ecosystems, sanctions, international

trade, supply chains, or economic security.

● Record of published analytical reports, research papers, policy papers, or other

analytical publications.
