The salary range depends on the candidate’s level of experience:

• 3+ years of relevant experience: $1,200-$1,500
• 1−1.5 years of relevant experience: $1,000-$1,200
• No prior experience: $700-$800

The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.

About the Role:

The Regional Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring active loads and supporting drivers to ensure on-time delivery, compliance, and smooth daily operations. This role focuses on real-time coordination, communication with drivers and internal teams, and quick problem resolution in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Monitoring and overseeing active loads, ensuring on-time pickup, transit, and delivery;
• Coordinating daily operations for a fleet of drivers (primarily 53' dry van trailers) within regional routes (up to ~500 miles);
• Maintaining constant communication with drivers regarding load status, delays, and any other issues;
• Providing real-time updates to brokers, customers, and internal teams (planner, CSR, after- hours support);
• Collaborating closely with the planning team, executing and supporting pre-assigned load schedules;
• Communicating with internal departments including fleet management, accounting, and roadside assistance teams;
• Tracking trucks and loads using telematics and logistics software (e.g., Helix, Motive/GoMotive, internal tracking systems);
• Monitoring driver compliance with DOT regulations, logbooks (ELD), and company safety standards;
• Assisting drivers in resolving issues during transit (breakdowns, delays, route changes, etc.);
• Supporting load adjustments or reassignments within the fleet when necessary;
• Ensuring accurate and timely updates in CRM and internal systems;
• Maintaining clear and professional communication with brokers and customers to ensure high service levels;
• Following company policies and procedures at all times;
• Possibility of maintaining regular office attendance from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST in the future, with availability to provide driver support through personal communication tools when required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a dispatcher / after-hours dispatcher/driver manager in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Education: High school diploma required;

Skills:

• Proficient in dispatch software, GPS tracking, and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and problem-solve in real-time.
• Good knowledge and practical daily utilization of HOS;
• Previous experience with Mcleod or ProTransport and Samsara
