Sophie Couture is an international evening and bridalwear brand. As we expand our team, we are looking for an experienced Pattern Maker who can independently develop garment patterns and work with highly complex couture designs.

📍 Location: Baku, Azerbaijan 🔄 Relocation: Fully covered by the company 🏠 Accommodation: Company-provided and fully paid apartment

Responsibilities

• Develop patterns for evening and bridal gowns from scratch.
• Create garment constructions based on sketches and technical specifications.
• Work with made-to-measure garments and non-standard body shapes.
• Develop complex construction solutions for couture pieces.
• Make adjustments after fittings and achieve an impeccable fit.
• Work closely with designers, seamstresses, and other atelier specialists.
• Ensure that finished garments correspond to the developed patterns and construction.
• Work with a variety of fabrics, corsets, draping, layered constructions, and complex silhouettes.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Pattern Maker.
• Ability to independently create patterns, not only work with existing templates.
• Experience with eveningwear, bridalwear, or couture garments is a strong advantage.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction and sewing techniques.
• Experience with made-to-measure garments and fittings.
• Strong understanding of garment fit and how to achieve the perfect fit on the body.
• High attention to detail and strong quality standards.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to relocate to Baku, Azerbaijan.
