Social Media, Growth Marketing Specialist for app startup

About the company

Inner Child Care is an early-stage startup developing a gamified mental wellbeing app for adults who did not receive enough love, care, or emotional support during childhood.

Our goal is to help users strengthen self-love, self-worth, and their relationship with themselves through inner-child and reparenting practices.

We are a small international team, and we are looking for a Social Media & Growth Marketing Specialist who will help us attract new users, grow our online presence, and experiment with new acquisition channels.

Previous professional experience is not required. We care more about your initiative, communication skills, creativity, willingness to learn, and understanding of social media.

Responsibilities

Social media and community

• Manage and grow our presence on Threads, X, Reddit, Discord, and LinkedIn.
• Publish content and engage with users, creators, and relevant online communities.
• Look for organic opportunities to introduce and promote our app.

Instagram and TikTok

• Create weekly posts, stories, carousels, and reels.
• Develop content ideas, record videos, edit them, and publish finished content.
• Present the app naturally and clearly in videos.

Influencer marketing

• Research potential influencers and creators.
• Evaluate collaboration opportunities.
• Contact influencers, manage communication, follow up, and coordinate collaborations.

Growth and user acquisition

• Continuously look for ways to attract more users and increase our media presence.
• Generate growth ideas and turn them into practical experiments.
• Analyze what attracts users and which channels or messages perform best.

AI tools and content

• Experiment with AI-generated videos, cartoons, and other content formats.
• Use AI tools and agents to improve marketing workflows and content production.

App Store and Google Play

• Improve store descriptions and marketing copy.
• Run experiments with different messaging when platform testing tools are available.
• Track conversion rates and identify what works best.

Analytics and reporting

• Prepare monthly reports covering social media, Google Play, and the App Store.
• Explain what worked, what did not, and what should be tested next.
• Participate in daily calls with the CEO and weekly team meetings.

Requirements

• English at C1 level or higher. You should be comfortable having conversations in English for one to two hours.
• The first interview will be conducted in English. Later, everyday communication can be a mix of Ukrainian and English, with one weekly founders meeting in English.
• Good understanding of social media fundamentals, including hooks, content length, audience communication, and short-form content.
• Confidence appearing on camera. Speaking on camera is optional because we can use voiceovers or AI-generated voices.
• Interest in marketing, content creation, user acquisition, and experimentation.
• Proactivity and willingness to suggest and test your own ideas.
• Honesty and open communication. We expect you to be comfortable saying when you do not know something, asking questions, and seeking help.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your area.

You do not need to know every tool or have experience with every responsibility listed above. We are ready to teach you and help you develop.

What we offer:

• Base salary starting from $500 per month, with salary reviews every few months.
• $100 bonus for every 1,000 new users.
