Tachyonic LLC is a New York based company specializing in high-end software development and analytics in financial services, trading and other demanding industries. Tachyonic LLC focuses on high-performance computing and real-time systems, as well as analytics in big-data applications. Tachyonic LLC is a recent spin-off of Lynx Capital Partners, a company established in 2001 specializing in high-frequency trading on US Equity markets. Lynx Capital Partners and Tachyonic LLC operate a jointly managed office in Kiev, and are seeking talented professionals to join the team.

Learning

Due to the demanding requirements of technologies in use, we expect the candidates to be able to quickly learn and integrate large volumes of new information and concepts. The aptitude in learning and good understanding of basic Computer Science is more important than years of experience. We encourage candidates with with good core knowledge but little relevant experience to apply, as long as they are comfortable with the initial intensive self-guided learning period.

Management

The management structure in Tachyonic is completely horizontal. The ability to self-manage and self-motivate is a must. Relations between team members are fairly informal. Tachyonic is unlikely to be a good fit for those who require quick feedback on their performance to stay motivated. The team members that can own projects, take initiative and drive the projects to success will find the most conductive environment.
