Global Emergency Relief, Recovery & Reconstruction

Founded in 2017, Global Emergency Relief, Recovery & Reconstruction (GER3) in a non-profit that supports crisis-affected communities to build back better. GER3 clears the debris left by a disaster, provides temporary facilities and immediately starts the reconstruction process with a particular focus on affected homes, schools and health facilities. GER3 is committed to using sustainable, culturally appropriate and community-led interventions. GER3 works in partnership with a range of international and national entities.

The GER3 team based in Kyiv is actively responding to support those most in need. GER3 has been operational in Ukraine since early June 2022, responding in affected communities alongside a range of local and international partners.

GER3 is bringing rapid relief and recovery support to conflict-affected communities and addressing gaps in the current response effort. Our integrated approach (targeting both immediate relief and early recovery) includes the provision of NFIs, debris management, winterization, and rapid rehabilitation of homes and schools — all while employing a local approach and focusing on most vulnerable communities and individuals.
