Volunteer in translating and writing articles

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian aggressor on the territory of Ukraine, I decided to help in
some way and started looking for various volunteer initiatives. I came across a questionnaire from Frontier and
Espreso.TV, filled it out and became a full member of the team. It was during this period that I acquired many skills in
writing and translating articles and analyzing news.

My main duties were to:
• search for the appropriate grasp of information;
• write articles based on that info;
• translate articles.

After the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian aggressor on the territory of Ukraine a conscious youth
decided to unite and start working on promotion of Ukrainian history, culture and analyzing Ukrainian political
sphere. Thus, the public organization called "Polumiani" was created. I joined this organization and became
responsible for:
• searching the appropriate data;
• writing articles about history and politics;
• editing articles;
• designing articles for the social networks;
• organization of conversations about the history and politics;
• conducting meetings with the youth.

Volunteer
Student organization "Vidlunnya" [ 09/2022 – Current ]

The last year I made up my mind to become a member of student organization "Vidlunnya". First, I became a mentor
for first-year students, we volunteered in the village of Rokytne near the city of Lviv. We helped the priest who has
horses: we helped clean the stables, chop wood, carry potatoes. This year, I decided to become a mentor for first-
year students in the city of Horodok, which is also located near the city of Lviv. We have to present our university to
schoolchildren, as well as hold a quiz for them. Besides, I tried my hand as a volunteer in an orphanage and helped
with weaving nets and making some energy bars for the military.

I was also a finalist in the international language competition I Liga Językowa.

I recently became a participant in the "Sot: Democracy" program. The program is aimed at developing
comprehensive skills and knowledge in the field of politics, particularly in Ukraine. At the moment I am just taking
this course.

After completing the course, all participants will know:
• Does the change in the structure of ministries, their names, and heads affect the life of an average citizen?
• What is the mechanism for the elections of the President of Ukraine, parliament, and local councils?
• To which court should a citizen apply in an economic/criminal/administrative case?

The course is organized by the public organization "Будь в курсі" with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of the Netherlands.

During this school, the participants worked together with the teachers to understand the acute social challenges

after finishing school. The school also became a place for the development of community spirit and solidarity
through intellectual, spiritual, and socio-cultural reflection.
