EDUCATION

· I was born in Kyiv and I’ve been living here for 19 years
· I’m currently studying at KNLU at the pedagogical faculty. I’m a third-year student. My
specialty is secondary education. I’m learning 2 languages here: English and German.
English is easy and not so complicated language, that’s why I enjoy teaching it.

EXPERIENCE & THE STRUCTURE OF MY
LESOONS

· I used to work as a private tutor for 2 years on the website repetitor.ua. It’s the site that
allows you to quickly and easily find your students. You just choose the student you want
to work with, and app and send a request to this pupil. After this, you need to wait for
some time until you get an answer.
·Moreover, I was working at another language school, called Antischool. We had our own
platform, where we were obligated to conduct our lessons. But I combined the material
given on the platform with my own teaching resources to make my lesson more efficient,
full and informative.
·I mostly prefer to work with average level students, approximately with A2 - B2 level.
Such students understand me better, they are able to easily answer my questions, and
express their opinion in English.
·Age groups. Mosty this are teens that are 15 – 17 y.o.. They are more diligent and hard-
working, that’s why I enjoy teaching them. They also understand the majority of
information that I tell them during the lesson. I also don’t work with adults.
In my lessons I include 5 main aspects: reading – so I ask the student to read and translate
the text, so the student is able to understand the main sense of the text, listening
comprehension – we learn how to understand the native speakers, to interpret their
speech. Writing – I give to the student as a home task some writing tasks. That can be to
write an essay, to write a response to a letter, speaking – we learn to express our opinion,
our thoughts in English, AND THE GRAMMAR PART, of course – I explain all the rules to
the students and we reinforce it by solving(doing) some practice exercises.
