Junior Unity Developer | Visual Novels for Kids (Android & iOS)

Developed 2D visual novels for children on Android and iOS platforms.

Full-time The primary challenge was optimizing build size and RAM usage, as the
project was not a single novel but an entire library. In the worst-case scenario,
adding a new novel could increase the build size by at least 10 MB.

Key Contributions:

Wrote interactive game scripts (called nani-scripts) that included scenarios,
resource loading, and character positioning.

Performance Optimization: Monitored resource usage, optimized assets, and
improved workflows, resulting in a 30% reduction device memory load.

Loading/unloading assets was implemented using the addressable asset
system, which reduced the build size by half.

Scene Design: Designed over 50 immersive game environments with
dynamic characters, detailed backgrounds, and interactive UI elements. Ensured
seamless gameplay and enhanced player engagement, contributing to a 15%
increase in user retention.

Worked closely with artists, writers, developers, and testers to deliver full-
featured novels with all requirments.

Created some cheats for easier testing, like clearing saves and increase/
decrease in-game currency for current user on Playfab.



Worked with Firebase Remote Config to dynamically manage and update
game features, settings, and UI without requiring client-side updates, ensuring
a seamless player experience.
