I am a 28-year-old Finnish citizen searching for a job in a humanitarian sphere in Ukraine. I
believe I can offer you a distinctive skillset with unbeatable integrity and hardworking
attitude.

CRISIS EXPERIENCE IN UKRAINE

For the past 19 months I have been highly involved with humanitarian work in Ukraine in
multiple ways. My main focus so far has been personally acquiring and delivering 57
vehicles from Finland to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as delivering
close to 50 tons of humanitarian aid packed in those cars. These vehicles and supplies I
have distributed in vast locations across the country, from Lviv to Donbass. Prior to this I
was volunteering in Kharkiv region distributing the aid provided by UN’s WFP. I have
frequent experience working in the yellow risk zone and I tolerate risky conditions for a
well-reasoned cause. I have decent connections to both military and volunteer
organizations across the country. It is worth mentioning, that I have set aside my earlier
job to work this way full-time, without making money out of it. Also, even I have partners
both in Finland and Ukraine, I work independently without an organization.

ABOUT MY MOTIVATION

During this time, I have studied the Ukrainian language and now manage basic
conversations with it (level A2). When I have time to spend at home, I’m actively involved
with the volunteer activities of Ukrainians in Finland. A lot of time spent on the road, great
number of Ukrainian friends and a general interest towards the nation have provided me a
fundamental understanding of the contexts of the Ukrainian society and the war. Most
importantly, all of this is the base for a deep sense of solidarism, which leads to a high
motivation to work in an incorruptible position that gives the opportunity to defend the
independence of Ukraine and really make a difference in people’s life.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE

I have graduated 2020 as a Master of Philosophy from Media Studies. Afterwards I worked
as a social media content creator beside other media and event productions. My work
always required high level of initiative and accountability, because from the beginning I
was all responsible of my own work – for instance creating a social media brand from a
scratch and organizing an international 3000 people event with 1-million-euro budget. My
work was always associated with church, so it was comparable to NGO jobs. Through my
work and pre-graduation volunteering, I have been involved with charity and NGO
activities frequently through the last 10 years. After shifting to my work in Ukraine, I have
of course gained also a considerable experience of logistics. After all, I have a diverse
skillset, but I consider my mindset, soft skills and work ethics to be my greatest assets.
