SATLITE is a test specification tool provided by PMT utilizing a domain specific language implemented in MPS, a JetBrains technology. The domain specific language focuses on the test case attributes: ID, test name, description, global condition, precondition, action, postcondition & expected results. Nevertheless, a completely user specific test catalog template can be created by removing or adding additional attributes. SATLITE can be used independently of the test level (component, integration, system, user acceptance, etc.) and independent of the test instance (MiL, HiL, SiL, car, etc.).

The user shall be able/ is able to specify test cases using natural language but also on a more precise level using predefined keywords.

Exemplary and currently heavily used use cases of SATLITE include the detection of test cases in fleet data that has been collected with vehicles (implicit execution), but also testing the test cases in car (explicit execution).

-Use Java for implementation and support of new features for the user
-Import/Export test cases from/to Excel, YAML, JSON, ReqIF and CodeBeamer file
-Fixing bugs in existing implementations
-Upload the results to CodeBeamer ALM
