LinkedIn tasked with building a brand new learning platform,
basically from nothing. I laid out the architectural
TECHNICAL SKILLS groundwork—decided to go with microservices, using
tools like React and Fastify, mainly to avoid future

React (Hooks, Context API), TypeScript,
bottlenecks.
JavaScript, Next.js, TanStack Family, Our development process felt sluggish, so I
HTML5, CSS3 completely reworked it. We moved over to a
monorepo with Turbopack and started doing proper

Legend-state difference in how fast we could get new features out
the door.

Most of my time was spent on a tricky analytics
dashboard built with React and TypeScript. The

Engineering We took two new apps from an idea to launch—one

Engineering Deployments were a huge pain when I started—a
Kyiv Professional College of Electronic manual 30-minute job. I got tired of it and built a
Devices CI/CD pipeline in Bitbucket that made it a two-
2010-2014 minute, one-click process. The team was pretty
happy about that.
Our old way of tracking bugs—basically, waiting for
user complaints—wasn't working. So I integrated
Sentry. It gave us immediate alerts, which let us jump
on production issues much quicker and keep things
running smoothly.

The role involved managing four developers spread
across three different client projects, which was a
challenge. To bring some order to the chaos, I put in
place a straightforward code review process and we
started a shared library for common components. It
helped a lot with consistency and stopped us from

I also got to do some fun, complex UI work. I built out
a real-time video streaming page for one client and
a big interactive graph visualization for another,
mostly using React, MobX, and GraphQL.
