I worked as a "Speaking Club" instructor and prepared various original presentations on a number of topics that the students relate to, e.g. "Are the seven wonders of the world overrated?". The Speaking clubs were virtual or in person, in groups, as a pair or individual based on student requests and the company's discretion. The main focus is to get the students to step out of their comfort zone, and immerse them into a reality of speaking exclusively in English with a native English speaker; broaden their knowledge and understanding of several colloquial terms and idioms. As well as help them overcome their fear of speaking English.
