Ajax Systems — Software Engineer

I was responsible for the full development lifecycle: designing and delivering new features,
maintaining and refactoring legacy code, and fixing production issues. I actively participated
in on-call rotations, investigating incidents and handling support requests while working
closely with business analysts to transform business requirements into clear technical
solutions. In addition to feature work, I contributed to building internal tools that reduced the
workload on developers and improved client support efficiency. I also took part in setting up
and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, collaborated daily with QA, DevOps, and other engineering
teams, and ensured high code quality through thorough test coverage and manual
validation. Operating in an Agile environment, I was trusted to work independently, make
design decisions, and take ownership of the features I delivered.

●​ Migrated a 140k+ LOC monolith to microservices without downtime while delivering
new features
●​ Built an internal tool (for support and Dev teams) for recovery our core CQRS tables
in runtime
●​ Optimized script for CQRS tables recovery from 22h and high resources
consumption for 1,5h and almost no resources usage + moved script in code
●​ Rewrote legacy event chain from NATS to Kafka with backward compatibility
●​ Troubleshooted high CPU usage in services and reduced it​
