About us

Rendi is an iOS app that teaches languages to adults through a serialised story. The learner plays as Rendi, the main character. Lessons run about five minutes and follow a fixed sequence: explanation, exercise, repetition. It launches on the App Store in November 2026.

The positioning matters for this job, because the content is what has to carry it. Language learning runs between two poles. Classic instruction — a tutor, a course, a textbook — explains, and usually carries the material on a story, but it costs time and effort and most people drop out. Exposure apps (Duolingo and co.) removed the effort and lost the explanation, which is why months of use often produce little. Rendi sits between them: the explanation and the story of a course, in the five-minute lessons of an app.

What the job is

The core of the job is writing. In a normal week that’s up to five video scenarios and three Instagram posts. Around that, you keep our channels running.

Research and trends

• Following short video closely and spotting formats early, while they still work
• Studying what other language apps and creators publish, what gets watched, and what of it we can use

Scenarios for short videos

• Complete scripts for our own videos. Complete means the hook, every line that gets said, the order it’s said in, and the ending. Something we can pick up and shoot as written.
• The same for UGC creators, written so they can film it without coming back with questions.

Instagram and planning

• Instagram posts from the idea to the copy to the structure of the carousel.
• Publishing: what goes out, when, and where.
• The content plan across all our channels: what went out, what’s coming, where the gaps are.
• Reading how each piece performed and letting that decide the next batch.

What we’re looking for

Writing

• This is the core of the job, so it’s what we’ll judge hardest. Scripts that read well, land the point in the first seconds, and hold to the end.
• Short video scripts you’ve written that actually got filmed, and that you can show us.
• Ability to write in someone else’s voice. You will be writing for a founder who already has an audience and a style people recognise.
• At least two years writing content or scripts, ideally in education or somewhere near it.

Knowledge of the format

• A real habit with short video: formats, trends, what is working this month on TikTok, Reels and Shorts, not what worked last year.
• Ability to look at competitors and come back with concrete ideas we can shoot
• Comfort writing for Instagram as a format of its own

How you work

• Steady volume, week after week, over months.
• Comfort reading results and adjusting Interest in language learning or education.
• You will be writing about how a language works

Languages

• English, enough to read professional material, write for an English-speaking audience, and talk to creators abroad.
• Ukrainian or Russian for day-to-day work with us.
• German is a plus.

Terms

• 60 000 UAH a month, full-time.
• Remote, working directly with the founders. No management layer.
• Filming and editing are on us and our contractors. You write, you plan, you publish.
• You arrive before launch, so what you write shapes how the product is introduced, not just how it gets marketed afterwards.
