Industrial Engineering (tasks): production concept revision, adjustment, capacity (equipment personnel)
planning, time studies, standard time definition, measured times vs. standard times analysis, gap
reduction (action plans coordination), root causes for main plant financial indicators deviation (fact vs.
planned) definition, improvement projects leading (incl. Six Sigma methodology).

Production Engineering: Customer drawing analysis, production drawing processing (2D, LDorado
software), BOM structure preparation in FORS/ FRED program and data setting. Masterdata for LEPS
system (starting from pre-blocks until packing step) preparation, production/ manufacturing processes
(incl. modularization for “big” harnesses) development, Work content balancing, operators
training conducting, Work Instruction (visualization) preparation for cutting area, Wire Preparation Area,
Assembly Area. Internal material flow (KanBan) development, setting, managing (batch size control,
shelves/ hooks for material control and adjustment). Change Management at plant level coordination (in
cooperation with D&D, Sales). Info: for VW trucks business more than 1000 technical changes were
implemented in 2020, 50% of them were urgent. Customers: VW Group (MAN), BMW, Daimler, Volvo,
Renault, JLR.
Board design: 2D drawing analysis, board layout development (LayMan soft), G-code generation (for CNC
machine), visualization (work instruction) preparation.

Project Management: customer projects (from plant side) managing. Milestones, budget planning, control
and achievements, regularly reports presenting (plant and Busines Unit levels). Since 2018 was successful
production relocation from Moldova to Ukraine (Kolomyia plant), MAN truck ramp up, BMW relocation (in
"blind" conditions caused by COVID-19 pandemic) from Romania to Kolomyia, currently is preparation for
Daimler project, SOP in 2021.
Shared Service Satellite: as disciplinary Manages of BU VW Calculation Team, Production Process Owner
and Quality Support. Main tasks: budgeting, Headcount planning, Cost tracking, general administration.

Department consisted of 2 Teams (Competence Team and Lead Plant Team). Competence Team was based
in Stryi with travelling ratio of 70%, Lead Plant Team was available 100% at local plant as Expats. Main task
was to support Leoni globally locations with production for GM customer. Support means indirect/ direct
structure definition and development during rump up, production concept verification, production
equipment in time delivery assurance, trainings, control, action to cover gap initiations and leading. The
next scopes were “covered”: Engineering (package from above description), Industrial Engineering (above
described), Quality Assurance (CSR, QA Dep. structure definition, employee trainings, full ongoing support
of local Dep. Manager), Production (Direct / Indirect structure definition, HC calculation, rump up planning,
on-site support during rump-up), Production Control (Customer orders processing, Leoni production
schedule preparation, control of production results).
Locations supported: Leoni in China (Shanghai, Jining), Leoni in Morocco (Berrechid), Leoni in Mexico
(Durango, Merida).
In 2015 was author (Engineering scope) of Fit For Growth Leoni global guideline of new plant set-up and
development.
