DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain and Procurement

REPORTING LINE: Supervisor Procurement

LOCATION: Kharkiv

CONTRACT TERMS: Permanent Contract

POSITION PURPOSE:

Under the supervision of the Manager/Supervisor (s) Procurement, monitor the sourcing activities for assigned categories, whether products and/or services, to achieve the lowest purchasing cost (Total Cost of Ownership or TCO) for the company, while ensuring company quality standards and essential criteria are met.

Contribute to the functional strategies related to category management to raise Procurement contribution and added value for the Business.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Analyze internal needs, external markets and cost structures to support the definition, formulation and further deployment of sourcing strategies (LRP, annual category purchase plan) for the assigned categories, carrying out the following activities:
  • Prepare and conduct RFIs, RFPs and RFQs. Participate and lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve economies of scale and best commercial terms and conditions for PMU.
  • Coordinate preparation and/ or review of supplier contracts with the Law/ Finance and Internal Customer department (s). Ensure conformity of contracts with procedures, suppliers' offers and PMU general conditions of purchase.
  • Create POs and follow-up timely delivery of products/ services by suppliers. Ensure up to date and quality data in all relevant systems (SAP, GSMT, Contract management system etc).
  • Ensure appropriate supplier relationships management (SRM) based on conducted suppliers segmentation and strategy. Assess supplier performance based on defined KPIs, report on issues and recommend/ execute appropriate corrective action plans.
  • Ensure high-quality services for Internal Customers. Build working relationships with peers at Affiliate, PMI Procurement Service Center and Cluster to ensure procurement activities are carried out in an optimal way.

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Experience in Supply Chain area
  • English -fluent
  • Knowledge of purchasing methods, procedures, legal and tax issues related to the purchasing process (ordering process).
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
  • Advanced communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Organizational skills
