Fleet and Safety Assistant (USA Trucking Company)

📌 Position Overview

Our company is seeking a Trailer Condition Manager to oversee trailer safety, condition monitoring, and compliance across our fleet.

This role focuses on identifying and preventing safety issues related to trailers, ensuring all equipment is road-ready, and minimizing risks during transit.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor overall trailer condition and safety status
• Track and identify damages (doors, floors, walls, lights, landing gear, etc.)
• Review driver-submitted photos and inspection reports
• Ensure trailers are clean, dry, and safe for loading
• Track and follow up on repairs and maintenance needs
• Coordinate with Fleet Department for repairs
• Monitor trailer-related incidents and damages
• Ensure trailers meet DOT safety standards
• Track mid-trip inspections (MTI) compliance
• Follow up with drivers on missing inspections or issues
• Maintain records of trailer condition and repair history

✅ Requirements

• Experience in trucking operations / fleet / trailer management
• Strong understanding of trailer safety standards
• Ability to identify equipment issues from photos/videos
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple trailers and drivers
• Good communication and follow-up skills

🌐 Language Requirement

• Fluent English (required)
• Fluent Russian (required)

👉 Must communicate with drivers in Russian and internally in English

⏰ Schedule

• Monday — Friday
• 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM EST 👉 Full-time availability required

💻 Remote Requirements

• Reliable laptop/PC
• Stable high-speed internet
• Ability to stay responsive during shift
• Time Doctor required

• Experience working with US trucking companies
• Familiarity with Samsara or similar systems
• Experience managing trailer inspections and repairs
