Dispatch Team Lead (US Logistics)

We’re looking for someone who can lead a dispatch team — end to end.

We are Ameriland Transport, a logistics company scaling rapidly in the US freight market. We work exclusively with owner-operators Dry van, Flatbed — our entire operation runs remotely. What we need is someone who can stand beside our Dispatch Department Manager as a true right hand, keeping the dispatch team sharp, accountable, and moving fast.

We’re looking for an experienced Team Lead with a strong background in dispatching and a deep understanding of day-to-day operations. You know how to manage a team, keep dispatchers accountable, identify problems, and make the right decisions when support is needed.

This role is about leading the dispatch team, making sure everyone understands their responsibilities, monitoring performance, supporting dispatchers in their daily work, and maintaining a high standard across the team. We need someone who can take ownership, lead by example, and be a reliable point of contact for the team and management.

Who we’re looking for

• 3+ years of hands-on dispatch experience in the US trucking industry; team-lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience dispatching and supporting owner-operators — this is required.
• Real, hands-on experience resolving driver, broker, load, and service issues — not just reading reports about them.
• Strong knowledge of load boards (DAT and similar), rate negotiation, and freight-market conditions.
• Strong coaching and training skills — able to observe dispatchers' work, quickly identify mistakes or gaps, and coach them on the spot with clear, practical guidance.
• Deep practical dispatching knowledge and the ability to teach dispatchers based on real experience.
• A proactive mindset: you catch problems before they escalate, not after.
• Confident and decisive, without being disrespectful or overly aggressive.
• Comfortable holding people accountable while keeping strong working relationships.
• Calm under pressure, organized, and able to prioritize multiple urgent issues at once.
• A fast learner who takes ownership immediately, without waiting for instructions.

Work conditions

• Full-time: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM — 12:00 AM (Kyiv time).
• Fully remote.
• Reports directly to the Dispatch Department Manager.
• Salary: $2,000/month during the first 3 months. After the trial period, it will increase to 2400$/month.
• You’ll be working exclusively with experienced dispatchers who have 2+ years of experience. We do not hire entry-level or inexperienced dispatchers — every team member knows their job and understands the dispatching process.
