About the Role

Status Transportation is a growing U.S.-based trucking company seeking a full-time Remote Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who is independent, competitive, organized, and a strong problem solver, and who thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment.

As a Dispatcher, you will serve as the key link between shippers, brokers, and Owner-Operators, ensuring efficient operations, clear communication, and profitable load decisions. Training will be provided for company systems and transportation-specific procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Load Coordination

• Dispatch trucks and communicate with Owner-Operators regarding available loads
• Present load options based on location, timing, and profitability
• Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers to maximize value
• Track loads and provide timely updates
• Resolve operational issues quickly and independently

Operations & Administrative Support

• Manage transportation documents (rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs)
• Track compliance-related items, documents, and expiration dates
• Assist with insurance claims documentation and follow-ups
• Maintain accurate records and task follow-ups

Communication & Team Support

• Communicate clearly and professionally in English
• Coordinate with multiple drivers simultaneously
• Work independently while supporting team goals
• Use company software and tools to manage daily operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable computer and stable internet connection
• Availability during U.S. business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Dispatch, logistics, or transportation experience
• Sales or negotiation background
• Confident communicator with a competitive mindset
• Experience working with multiple drivers at the same time
• Ability to quickly learn customized software systems
• Experience supporting small or mid-size transportation businesses
