International Accountant

The Role:

We are seeking a specialist with a strong background in international accounting standards, specifically within the Crypto/Web3 ecosystem. This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports), where you will be responsible for the entire accounting cycle—from data entry to final reporting—for multiple active and dormant entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independent Reporting: Personally prepare and file quarterly financial reports and tax returns for a portfolio of 5−10 entities.
• Hands-on Accounting: Manage all day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and documentation without administrative support.
• Compliance Management: Ensure timely filings for both active and «zero-report» (dormant) companies across various jurisdictions.
• Crypto Operations: Handle accounting and reconciliation for digital assets and crypto-related transactions.
• Global Standards: Maintain financial statements according to international standards (IFRS/GAAP).

Requirements:

• Individual Contributor Mindset: Ability to work independently and manage the full workload manually without a team of subordinates.
• English Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) for professional reporting and communication.
• Crypto Experience: Proven background in accounting for crypto projects or fintech companies.
• International Expertise: Solid experience with financial reporting in Europe (UK, Poland, Lithuania) and/or the USA.
• Multi-tasking: Proven ability to handle multiple entities simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Big Plus (Bonus Points):
• US Jurisdiction: Direct experience with US Accounting/Taxation (highly preferred).
• Liquidation: Familiarity with the legal and accounting processes of company liquidation.
• Specific Regions: Practical experience with reporting in Poland, Lithuania, or the UK.
